This Privacy Policy is a placeholder draft for SweepsOS as of March 7, 2026. It describes the categories of information the platform is expected to collect and process before final launch language is prepared.

This draft should be revised to match your final production architecture, vendor list, retention settings, and customer obligations before launch.

SweepsOS may collect account information such as name, email address, organization details, authentication identifiers, billing-related metadata, and customer support communications.

The platform may also process user-submitted rules, URLs, uploaded documents, extracted text, generated analyses, and operational logs needed to provide review results and maintain the service.

Information may be used to authenticate users, operate the platform, generate compliance reviews, support billing and credits, improve system performance, monitor abuse, and communicate with customers about their accounts or the service.

Submitted materials may be processed by third-party infrastructure or AI service providers solely to provide the requested product functionality, subject to final contractual and privacy review.

Based on the current product architecture, SweepsOS may rely on third-party providers for authentication, payments, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, and AI processing. Current examples in the codebase include Clerk, Stripe, Railway or similar hosting, and Anthropic.

This section should be updated with the final list of subprocessors, contractual safeguards, and any required jurisdiction-specific disclosures before launch.

The current product logic includes retention controls for review data, and placeholder retention periods may change before launch. Data should not be retained longer than necessary for the purposes described in the final policy.

SweepsOS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing activities.

The final policy should specify request channels, verification procedures, appeal rights, and any jurisdiction-specific disclosures required under applicable privacy laws.

SweepsOS is not intended for children under 13, and the platform is not designed to intentionally collect children’s personal information.

Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is strictly necessary and authorized for the relevant use case.

This placeholder policy may be revised at any time as the product, vendors, and legal position evolve. The final launch policy should include a clear effective date and update process.
